IPEx Cleantech was set up as a consortium of ReEx Capital Asia (cleantech capital raising with pan-Asia focus) and DNV GL Clean Technology Centre (cleantech consulting arm of the world renowned certification firm) with initial funding support from Asian Development Bank. Thus, IPEx Cleantech, with this depth and breadth of knowledge and experience, is uniquely positioned to integrate various steps in the technology transfer/deployment deal facilitation value chain that are required for mitigating barriers and risks on the technology adopter’s as well as provider’s side when the technology is new to the market, and vice-versa.
Asian Development Bank (ADB), based in Manila, Philippines, is dedicated to reducing poverty in Asia and the Pacific through inclusive economic growth, environmentally sustainable growth, and regional integration.
IPEx Cleantech Asia received a technical assistance grant from ADB through the regional TA project Demonstration of an Assisted Broker Model for Transfer of Low Carbon Technologies to Asia and the Pacific, co-funded by ADB, the Government of Japan, the Global Environment Facility, and Belgium-based VITO-Flemish Institute of Technological Research.
